Client: Ace Boone (Southern Rock Band, myspace.com/aceboone)

Objectives: Build viral-wallpapers and promote them through social networks.

Details: Wallpapers were made as part of a promotional effort to ultimately drive traffic to Ace Boone’s myspace site. The main vehicle used to spread them was Ace Boone’s Facebook fan page.

Butch Jefferson Jackson

Client: Ace Boone (Southern Rock Band)

Objective: Create iconic imagery of the human mascot for Ace Boone

Details: Butch Jefferson Jackson is known for having the “best hips in the business”. Imagery was needed to reflect his free spirit. Inspiration was drawn from classic rock artwork and those cheesy country concert t-shirts (see  late 80′s or early 90′s Reba MacEntire, Garth Brooks, or Tobey Keith for reference). Memorabilia was created to sell at shows and online (cafepress.com/aceboone).

Client: Ace Boone (southern rock band)

Objectives: To create an identity for a rock band. Tasks included making a logo, t-shirt, and poster for the band.

Details: The business card’s were designed  to look like playing cards. A multitude of patterns were used as inspiration. Also, the cards were constructed as the exact size of playing cards to look more realistic. The t-shirt’s style was influenced by contemporary t-shirt fashion. Research included investigating silk-screening methods used at popular fashion destinations.

Objectives: To create an identity for a rock band. Tasks included making a logo, t-shirt, and poster for the band.

Details: The poster was designed to look like a handwritten note taped to a telephone poll. It was constructed in this manner to
symbolize the bare-bones, no-frill style of Ace Boon. In addition to being printed as an 11×17 poster, the design was also printed as a black and white hand-out flyer.
